NEW BRUSHES!

I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!

Hello Lovelies!
Yesterday I went into boots with my best friend Suzanne and I wasn't really looking for anything in particular - however I knew there was not a chance I was leaving without spending a bit of money... It's impossible. I was just looking around when I came to the aisle with the Make Up Brushes. Now as some of you may know, if you have read my What's in my Make Up Bag post, I have only ever used Bare Minerals brushes so when I saw that the Real Techniques Brushes had a deal on them, plus I had a little bit of treat money to spend, I thought I should buy them and give them a go!

I got the the core collection which includes 4 brushes: the Detailer Brush, the Pointed Foundation Brush, the Buffing Brush and the Contour Brush plus, because they were doing a deal that you could buy one item get another half price I got the Expert Face brush too!

Usually the Core Collection is £21.99 and the Expert Face Brush is £9.99 but I managed to get £5 off which may not seem that much but the brushes are pretty expensive so I was glad to get a bit of a discount!

From left to right: Expert Face Brush - Pointed Foundation Brush - Contour Brush - Detailer Brush - Buffing Brush!

I tried them out for the first time today and my god they are just as amazing as they are made out to be! They give such a flawless finish and leave your make up looking really natural! They're so soft and give your make up a weightless feel. I am so so happy with them and I'm really glad I decided to give them a try because they're my new favourites!

The only critical thing I would have to say about them is the Detailer Brush (the really small one) is said to be used to conceal problem areas however I found it a little bit small for that, I wanted something a bit bigger to conceal as it would take forever to use it for all my 'problem areas' but I am now using it as a lip brush (it says it can be used for that too) and it is good for that so its not all bad!So instead I decided to use the pointed foundation brush for my concealer and my expert face brush for foundation as I don't really need both for foundation and I am finding the pointed foundation brush a whole lot better for concealing - especially for under the eyes! It all worked out well in the end!

I have only used them once so far but I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for new brushes, yes they are quite pricey but they are totally worth it! I'm happy as Larry!

Again, as always, thank you so much for reading my posts! I really do appreciate it so much, I was completely shocked and overwhelmed that my Back to School post got over 450 views in just a matter of hours, HOW CRAZY IS THAT?! I really wasn't expecting such great feedback and I love every single one of you that takes the time to read my silly little posts!

Much love, Christy x
