SO I've decided to do a really quick mini mac haul woo!
I have been so fascinated by mac and their products for a while now but I have never actually got around to buy anything, however for Christmas I received vouchers for the House of Fraser so decided to have a little nosy in their make up section! Mac was the first store I came across and believe me it was so difficult not to spend all my money!
I absolutely loved the idea of getting a mac lipstick, I've always seen girls with their mac lipsticks and they always look so great! The question was... which to go for! One of the girls working there came over to check if I needed anything and she was so helpful with finding the colour I was looking for! I have a lot of pinky shades of lipstick and a few dark reds/purples but I've never had that classic bright red lipstick so when she showed me "Ruby woo" (I know its a really well known/loved colour) I immediately knew that was the one i wanted! It is such a lovely colour and I love it!
I then went on to have another wee look around thinking about all the things that weren't included in my make up bag, I came across the highlighters and immediately had the urge to buy one, I tested a few different ones, both liquid and powder but eventually decided on a liquid one with a pink shimmer called "pink rebel" and it is so so so stunning! It makes you look like you've been photo shopped, you just pat it on wherever you want highlighting (cheekbones, etc) and ta da its like a whole new face! as you can tell I absolutely love it!
Finally I considered buying some eye shadow or pigment but I actually got a lot of eye shadow pallets and things over Christmas so I thought I might just get a shading
brush, I went for the 217 blending brush and it works a treat! its a lot better than the other eye make up brushes I own and I definitely think I'll be going back to purchase more!
The moral of this post is I absolutely love the products I got and I'm really excited to build my Mac collection!
Thank you so much as always if you have taken the time to read this post, I know I ramble a little bit and talk nonsense but it means a lot that people actually enjoy to read the things I enjoy writing! I hope you all have a brilliant evening and I'll speak soon,
much love, Christy xx
